Arthur is an enthusiastic educator with a strong background in teaching Science and STEM subjects. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Zoology from the University of Leicester and completed his PGCE at the University of Sunderland. During his training he gained valuable classroom experience at a Canadian international school, working with diverse learners.

 

With a dynamic teaching career in Hong Kong, Arthur has taught Science across IB, A-Level and IGCSE, and for these public examinations he has helped many students achieve top grades. He is passionate about fostering students’ curiosity and cultivating a genuine love of learning. In his lessons he regularly incorporates interactive tools such as simulations and virtual reality, helping students explore their interests and discover effective strategies that work for them. Arthur also supports students in preparing for general Science entrance exams, and his students have gained places at prestigious UK boarding schools.

 

Arthur’s teaching philosophy centres on developing problem-solving skills and building students’ confidence. By setting real-life challenges in the classroom he encourages creative thinking and equips learners with the resilience to tackle obstacles. This approach allows him to connect with students across a range of subjects, nurture their potential, and inspire them to reach new heights in their academic journeys.
