The Reilly Education team are all educators. We have worked as classroom teachers, have managed academic departments and have been immersed in the academic, pastoral and extra-curricular life of schools. Our academic experience is spread across the Arts and Sciences and a number of us have worked as Senior Leaders at some of the nation’s best independent schools. We have decades of experience working with young people as they navigate their lives at school and it is this depth of experience that gives us the confidence to guide families in finding the best pathway for their children.
Our aim is always to focus on the child, to understand his or her abilities and talents in the widest sense, and to offer continuing support to parents whether their ambition is an 11+ boarding school place or an application to a top university.
Reilly Education’s founder Rory Reilly has seen the educational system from many different vantage points. He held the position of Head of Geography in one school and Head of Rowing in another. He worked as an Interviewer at Oxford University’s Hertford College and for 10 years was Registrar for Admissions at The King’s School Canterbury. During this period he built an expansive network of connections. He further deepened those relationships by setting up The Registrars Conference while also advising a number of schools on their approach to Oxbridge. He is a trusted member of the community and continues to maintain close ties with the schools, updating his knowledge and understanding through regular visits.
Unlike most education consultants Rory does not accept commission from schools, his loyalty is to you as parents and to your children. He intentionally works with a limited number of children guiding them carefully and sympathetically through the maze of school curricula, standardised assessments, interviews and visits, always prioritising your child’s best interests. He is based in the UK and offers a free initial 45 min Zoom consultation to help parents start the process.
