Juliet Levesque is dedicated to empowering students to discover their unique voices and develop their character through learning. As an educator and admissions consultant, she loves helping students express their strengths through writing.
Her warm, holistic approach is enriched by experiences working with students from primary to university levels across the globe. Juliet’s essay and interview coaching have guided students from Hong Kong and beyond to gain admission to top US schools. Her favorite part of admissions counseling is helping students uncover what they want from their education.
Juliet holds a BA in History and a Museum Studies Certificate from Connecticut College, where she was a member of the varsity volleyball team. Her time in the museum sector taught her valuable skills in making unfamiliar ideas accessible and exciting to diverse audiences.
Juliet began her education career at Morningside College at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, where she inspired students through ethics and service-learning courses, fostering critical thinking and reflection as global citizens. This role solidified her motivation to help students discover their voices and develop their character through learning.
Juliet’s educational philosophy centers on the belief that education is a means of empowerment and that each student’s journey is unique. Her experiences as a competitive athlete instilled the importance of creating a positive environment. She is focused on encouraging students to aim high and equipping them with the tools they need to thrive in within today’s quickly evolving academic and professional landscapes.
As an educator, Juliet is mindful of students’ individual backgrounds, learning styles, and goals, aiming to meet them where they are. Whenever possible, she integrates opportunities for students to develop their soft skills alongside academic material.
Alongside her work at Baker & Bloom, Juliet is pursuing an MSocSc in Counselling at HKU, further developing her skills in understanding and supporting the emotional and psychological needs of students and families.
Juliet also dedicates time to mentoring young people beyond her formal roles, including Vacation Bible School, interview skills training for under-resourced students, and coaching AAU volleyball.
