Jacqueline Cheng holds a BA in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics (PPE) from the University of Oxford and completed her A-Levels and GCSEs at Cheltenham Ladies’ College, UK. With over 10 years of experience as an independent university admissions advisor, she guides students through the entire admissions process, from strategy development to personal statement crafting and interview training. Her students have consistently secured placements at their first-choice universities.


Jacqueline joined Baker & Bloom in 2014 as an academic coach, working across various disciplines, including English, public speaking, and university admissions. She has returned to the team as a university admissions counselor and academic coach, aspiring to mentor students in exploring their passions, establishing their voice, and discovering their identity.


Before her education career, Jacqueline spent several years at Goldman Sachs and most recently held the position of Global Head of Family Experience at Shangri-La, where she was responsible for designing and curating products and programs that encourage children to learn through play and creating experiences that enable families to bond and make precious life-long memories. Her corporate experience provides valuable insights for navigating an important milestone as they begin to think about their lives beyond high school and university.


In additio
n to her professional work, Jacqueline volunteers as a mentor to young women at the Asian University of Women in Bangladesh. She also serves on the board of Hagar International in Hong Kong, which supports women and children recovering from abuse. As an admissions counselor, she aims to forge deep, trustworthy relationships with her students and offer personalized guidance during their admissions journeys and personal growth.
