To be eligible for kindergarten, the following age requirements apply: K1 (First Year of Kindergarten): Your child must turn 3 years old by July 30th in the year they start. K3 (Third Year of Kindergarten): Your child must turn 5 years old by July 30th in the year they start.

This includes those who require additional support to grasp concepts, children who may need assistance with focus, those with mild speech or language delays who could benefit from further support, as well as children who need guidance in social interactions.
