On August 24th, 2024, Baker & Bloom will host a distinguished lineup of speakers and workshops to celebrate our 10th anniversary. Throughout the day, our families will have the opportunity to participate in parent talks and interactive workshops led by our Founder, Renee Boey, and other inspiring and experienced educators. 

 

The event will also include an exclusive parent and student workshop with MIT Professor Matthew Kressy, the founding director of the MIT Integrated Design & Management (IDM) master’s degree. As an expert in product design and development, Professor Kressy will explore the fundamentals of entrepreneurship through the lens of human-centered design. Parents and students will discover how creating successful products starts with deeply understanding and addressing user needs. They will learn to embrace failure as a crucial part of the creative journey, and see how professional designers iterate and refine their ideas to bring high-impact solutions to life. This workshop will inspire parents and students to envision and transform their innovative ideas into practical, impactful realities.
